Shipping policy

Everything here is made by one person, so delivery works a little differently to a normal shop. Nothing below is complicated, but it's worth two minutes before you buy.

How the drops work

I don't hold stock. When a drop opens you're buying from a batch I pour afterwards, to the orders that actually came in. That's why things sell out, and why nothing gets restocked in between.

Every drop has a single dispatch date. It's written on the product page before you buy, and repeated in your order confirmation, so you always know when to expect it. Everything from that drop goes out on or around that date.

If anything is going to be later than the date I gave you, I'll email you and tell you why.

Postage

UK delivery is free on every order.

Orders go by Royal Mail. If they're striking, or backed up at peak times, I'll use another carrier — Evri, DPD or UPS — to get it to you rather than let it sit.

You'll get an email with tracking when your order is on its way.

Where I post

I post within the UK only at the moment.

If you're overseas and really want one, email me at hello@houseoftwotrees.com and I'll find out what postage would cost. I can't promise it'll be sensible, but I'll tell you honestly either way.

If something goes wrong

If you need to change your delivery address, email me as soon as you can. If it hasn't gone yet, I'll change it.

If your order hasn't arrived when it should have, email hello@houseoftwotrees.com and I'll sort it out. Do check with your neighbours and your local sorting office first, because that's usually where it is.

If a delivery is refused and the parcel comes back to me, there'll be a further postage charge to send it out again.

Larger orders

If you've arranged a bigger order with me directly, the timings we agreed by email are the ones that apply, not the drop dates above.
